Speaking on dealing with fame and success, Anjali Anand shared a personal experience. She recalled a time while shooting for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani in Delhi. The shoot wrapped up quickly, and the rest of the cast went shopping at a local market. When she requested to join them, they said, “You can’t come with us.” Confused, Anjali asked why, to which they replied, “You’ll make it difficult for us to shop freely.” This moment hit her hard, realising that her presence could create an obstacle because of her fame. She reflected on how she often travels without caring, but when people make such statements, it’s hard to ignore. “You can’t come here, you can’t do this,” she said, acknowledging that it was a tough pill to swallow.

She further went ahead and remembered a quote by Shah Rukh Khan, Anjali said, “Shah Rukh Khan said something really nice when asked this question. He said ki, ‘Mujhe famous hona tha famous hone ke liye, mujhe nahi chowpaty pe jaake pav bhaji khaani hai. He said,’I will sit in my 5 star hotel, mujhe agar salad chahiye kahise, main wahase salad le aauga apne gharpe aur wahase pav bhaji bhi aajayegi. Sab kuch mere ghar pe hi aajayega. Mujhe 5 star mein hi khana hau, mujhe Rolls Royce mein hi ghumna hai’.”
